SOMERSET HILLS VIII
PARKING POLICY
Pursuant to Article VII, Section 1 of the Bylaws, the Board of Directors of Somerset Hills VIII Homeowners Association adopts the following policy in regard to parking within the boundaries of the Association:
Residents of the Association are encouraged to park vehicles in their garage and on their driveway, subject to Eugene City Code 9.6745(7)(3) regarding storage of vehicles. Consistent with City Code, vehicles parked in the driveway must be in daily use.
Additional parking space for Residents and their guests is available throughout the Association, in areas where a private street has been widened to accommodate parking (“Common Area Parking”). Vehicles are not to be stored in the Common Area Parking, and Residents and their guests shall make courteous use of these spaces and to maximize the space available for others to park.
Except for short-term loading and unloading of vehicles which cannot safely or practically be done in a Resident’s driveway, neither Residents nor their guests shall park on the private roads within the Association or in any manner that impedes the passage of other vehicles. Vehicles parked in such a manner shall be towed at the owner’s expense pursuant to ORS 98.812.
