Annual Meeting January 30, 2018
Our annual homeowners’ meeting is coming up soon, Tuesday, January 30, 7 p.m. at Valley Covenant Church, 3636 W. 18th Ave. All homeowners are urged to attend as we approve the 2018 budget and elect new board members.
Suggestions to the nominating committee for board members are very welcome (you may suggest yourself). Please ask the person before suggesting his or her name and submit the name using the contact form here on our web site.
Once again there will be a drawing for one homeowner who attends to receive this year’s dues free!
If you cannot attend the homeowners’ meeting, you may have another homeowner offer your vote by proxy. The form for that is here:

Board Minutes, Annual Meeting
Below are minutes for our November 16 board meeting. Our next board meeting is December 12 at 7 p.m. at Valley Covenant Church. The annual homeowner’s association meeting will be January 30, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Valley Covenant Church. The nominating committee is seeking nominations for the 2018 board of directors. Please use the contact form on this site to make a nomination (you may submit your own name).
Leaf Pickup
We are currently awaiting the first city leaf pickup of the season (scheduled sometime November 13-17). PLEASE NOTE: The city only picks up leaves from city streets, not from our private streets. If you move leaves to the city streets, PLEASE DO NOT dump them close to intersections where they block entrance and exit to our streets and cul de sacs (this has already happened in some spots). And please do not place them in marked bike paths (this is illegal). You can see the city’s leaf pickup announcements and schedule here.

Your HOA board is meeting monthly. Minutes of the last two meetings (August and September) are linked below. The next meeting is Tuesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. at Valley Covenant Church.
Recent Board Meetings
Your HOA board and the architectural control committee have been responding to a number of contacts, problem reports and property change requests. We’ve been meeting every month to deal with the load of issues. Minutes from the two most recent board meetings are here:

Bentley Resurfacing Postponed
Notifications had been posted that Bentley Avenue would be resurfaced on July 20. Because of complaints from two Bentley homeowners, that work has been indefinitely postponed. A letter is being sent to Bentley homeowners to invite them to liaison with the asphalt contractor to schedule the work at a time which works for residents of that area.
Storm Cleanup
Storm debris pickup will take place starting Wednesday April 5 (April 4 was posted on our mailboxes, but our contractor needed to change the date). Thank you for helping move fallen limbs to the street for pickup.
