We are currently awaiting the first city leaf pickup of the season (scheduled sometime November 13-17). PLEASE NOTE: The city only picks up leaves from city streets, not from our private streets. If you move leaves to the city streets, PLEASE DO NOT dump them close to intersections where they block entrance and exit to our streets and cul de sacs (this has already happened in some spots). And please do not place them in marked bike paths (this is illegal). You can see the city’s leaf pickup announcements and schedule here.

Here are minutes from our October 10, 2017 board meeting. Note that our president Bob Huffine resigned due to work commitments. Erin Finnerty, vice-president, will chair our meetings through the end of the year. Our next board meeting is November 16, 2017, 7 p.m. at Valley Covenant Church.

Bentley Resurfacing Postponed
Notifications had been posted that Bentley Avenue would be resurfaced on July 20. Because of complaints from two Bentley homeowners, that work has been indefinitely postponed. A letter is being sent to Bentley homeowners to invite them to liaison with the asphalt contractor to schedule the work at a time which works for residents of that area.
Board Activity
We haven’t posted board minutes in a while, but your board has been meeting regularly and has been quite busy dealing with storm cleanup and a large number of contacts, problem reports, and property change requests through this web site. The forms on this site are always your best means of contacting the board.

Storm Cleanup
Storm debris pickup will take place starting Wednesday April 5 (April 4 was posted on our mailboxes, but our contractor needed to change the date). Thank you for helping move fallen limbs to the street for pickup.
Report on Homeowners’ Meeting
Our annual meeting was held on January 17. A quorum was present or represented. Two board members were re-elected to new terms and two new board members were elected. Teryl Chala Gentry was thanked for her service on the board. The 2017 budget was approved. Questions were answered regarding tree debris clean up and other HOA matters. Our annual homeowners meeting is upon us! Tuesday, January 17 at 7 p.m. at Valley Covenant Church, 3636 W. 18th (18th & Bailey Hill). We need every homeowner to attend to elect new board members and approve the 2017 budget.
