Parking Policy
Notice to homeowners: The HOA does have a parking policy, vehicles parked in the HOA private street pullouts should be in use and moved every 72 hours or it is encouraged that you park your car in your garage or driveway. The parking policy is as follows:

Somerset Hills VIII Parking Policy
Pursuant to Article VII, Section 1 of the Bylaws, the Board of Directors of Somerset Hills VIII Homeowners Association adopts the following policy in regard to parking within the boundaries of the Association:
Residents of the Association are encouraged to park vehicles in their garage and in/on their driveway, subject to Eugene City Code 9.6745(7)(3) regarding storage of vehicles. Also, per Article X section 11 of our CC&R’s: Open carports shall not be used for storage other than that enclosed by walls of the structure. Travel trailers, campers, boat trailers and similar vehicles are required to be parked behind the front line of the residence building, and in the case of corner Lots, only on the side of a residence building not facing a street. In no event shall any of said vehicles be parked in the parking spaces of the private streets.
Additional parking space for Residents and their guests is available throughout the Association, in areas where a private street has been widened to accommodate parking (“Common Area Parking”). Vehicles are not to be stored in the Common Area Parking, and Residents and their guests shall make courteous use of these spaces and to maximize the space available for others to park.
Except for short-term loading and unloading of vehicles which cannot safely or practically be done in a Resident driveway, neither Residents nor their guests shall park on the private roads within the Association or in any manner that impedes the passage of other vehicles. Vehicles parked in such a manner shall be towed at the owner’s expense pursuant to ORS 98.812 and ORS 98.830.
